Dana White On CM Punk: ‘I Think He Should Call It a Wrap’

If UFC 225 taught everyone anything, it’s that former WWE superstar CM Punk has no business competing in their octagon, for his own personal safety.

Punk landed on the UFC card, taking place in his hometown of Chicago, mainly because of his drawing power, as he was completely dominated in his debut loss at UFC 203 to Mickey Gall.

But, the results against Mike Jackson weren’t any better, and in fact the way Punk fared in the bought had many people calling for him to end his career before he gets himself seriously hurt.

And while it may seem like a cruel thing to say, it’s 100% true.

Punk needs to step away, and UFC president Dana White agrees with the notion.

“It probably should be a wrap,” White said after the event, according to ESPN. “The guy is 39 years old. I love the guy. He’s the nicest guy in the world. We gave him two shots, and he had a lot of heart tonight in this fight. And I think he should call it a wrap.”
