UFC bantamweight Marlon Moraes has had enough of the talk, enough of the posturing, and enough of the bickering.
Moraes has something to prove when he steps into the octagon against Jimmie Rivera at UFC Fight Night 131 at Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y.
“I respect him as a professional,” Moraes said to the media, according to MMA Junkie.
“We’re going to go out there, I have my skills, and he has his skills. He believes in his skills, and I believe in my skills.
“We’re going to go in there and show everybody who’s the best on Friday night. That’s it.”‘
Rivera has questioned the opportunities that Moraes has received, believing that he had perks that haven’t been afforded to others, while he has worked hard to get to where he is at.
“Friday we’ll see whether I am, or I’m not,” Moraes said. “I’m ready to prove it, and he will see Friday night.”
