It what has been the worst kept secret in sports entertainment, UFC star Ronda Rousey is finalizing a deal with WWE.
USA Today’s Martin Rogers reported on Wednesday that Rousey was finalizing a deal. I had reported on The Brawling that WWE was planning Rousey’s debut-match at WrestleMania 34, back in October.
Rousey hasn’t officially retired from MMA. Her last fight was against Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016, a match which she lost.
It’s likely that WWE fans could see Rousey make her on-screen debut in one of the big PPVs leading up to WrestleMania, such as the Royal Rumble.
