Floyd Mayweather believes that his opponent this weekend, Conor McGregor is using IV bags to stay hydrated ahead of Saturday’s megafight.

Mayweather made the claim in an interview with MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani stating that he heard from a “strong source” regarding the IV use and Mayweather constantly used the terms “rumor” and “allegedly”.

However, UFC president Dana White says that there is “nothing true about Mayweather’s claims” during a talk with TMZ Sports.

During the fight’s final press conference on Wednesday, McGregor said that Mayweather “needs to shut his mouth” about his weight leading up to Friday’s weigh-in, via MMAJunkie’s Martin Rogers.

Saturday can’t come soon enough.
